[character abilities]:

Labeled "Flurry of Dancing Flames", Axel wields red and silver weapons called chakram and utilizes the element of fire. These abilities, more attributed in a fight, allows him to teleports back and forth, barraging the enemy with the previously mentioned charkram - as well as deftly throwing the wheels from afar. He can create a nearly unavoidable wall of fire that expands out from him across the entire field, and in the event of wanting to cause more damage, he is able to duplicate his weapons and then send all four to ricochet off the foe and walls at unavoidable speeds.

Read: Anything thinkable involving fire, he can - more than likely - accomplish.

In general, Axel is very quick on his feet, cable of attacking with deadly precision and aim. He also possesses the ability to open portals, much like any Nobody in the Orginzation. Also has the uncanny habit of spelling. Granted, it's only usually somewhere around six letters, but-- He was learned good? ♥

[character personality]:

Much like his personal element, Axel can very much personify it - with both words and actions. He can seem snide and rather opininated at times, yet lacking cruelty and focusing more on the 'Is he for real?' aspect. "Hard to read" and "messing around half the time" also describe this.

Often loud in contrast to the other members, he is noted to be somewhat mysterious as to where his motives truly lie. Though it, many times, unofficially involves Roxas, his best friend, at one point or another and indirectly, Sora. Thus, he's considered somewhat of a wild card because of these exploits and his role as a double agent [i.e., Chain of Memories].

As a side note, Axel also seems to have no qualms about exploiting others to suit his needs; his persuasion is typically borderline manipulative. Despite this, however, he is relatively collected, and it's almost as if he acts with a heart. Which he technically lacks since Nobodies are also heartless.

[third person / log sample]:

Swing and a miss, an even bigger miscalculation as a leg slipped from under him and he fell to a knee, grace in all its dignity saving him from a face-plant into a slithering mass of heartless. Story of his life, really - surrounded by nothing. The sound out of his mouth, then, was neither a sigh nor a convincing laugh of amusement. Just between, all of it relative to the location and the fact he was on the opposite side of the team this time. Still, it was a better day than what the Organization had planned.

Hearts, hearts, hearts.

Yeah, like he needed one.

Axel twisted his hand and sunk the edge of a chakram into one of those many wobbling heads swarming at his legs, willing it to immediately set flame to the entirety of its body. Some gruesome noise, and he was back on his feet, slouching a little as he twisted those weapons around his fingers before easily palming them. Ever since then, something resembling this had become his existence, a way to a new life with running and dodging. The idle business of taking orders boring, his motives pushing forward as if discovering some pentacle in all of this. He often blamed it on the kid; like now, setting a pair of grimy hands on fire as they tried to claw his boots from his feet.

Chosen of the Keyblade, mock sentiment when he smiled.

From across the battlefield, Axel noticed the grin, the way Sora's face lit up as he rubbed at his nose--

The stinging swell of teeth clamping into his thigh forced him back to reality just as quickly as he'd left it. Not exactly the perfect time for his mind to go wandering. Still, gloved hand fisted, Axel grit his teeth and punched the oozing shape of darkness in the back of its rather indistinct neck, thinking to break it in half. Certainly he'd experienced worse things, but something so unexpected only served to ignite his temper. The way the heat seemed to lick at the beginnings of an eruption.

Don't make me mad!

"Is that the best you got?!" he hissed, cliché in his wording but perfect in its execution when he realized there were eyes on him. Incandescent blue - similar but not quite those of a friend he'd watched walk into another existence entirely without so much as a protest. Mistakes he'd, oddly, wanted to rectify. Roxas, Roxas, Rox-- "WATCH THIS!"

There had been times when he'd considered the possibilities, if it would have changed anything. Like he could really care, missing priorities leaving him with only an imitation of what it must have been like to feel. Happiness; sitting on that clock tower, ice cream dripping over leather. Anger; the fading hint of blond in the distance, being forgotten. Jealousy; replaced for three when one should have been good enough, better than enough. Shock; ordered to kill, kill, KILL unless otherwise accompanied. Satisfaction; taking them out from the sidelines one by one, entirely unsuspected. Sad...

--what did he need another life for? It'd probably be boring, anyway.

He swung again, and the air exploded.
