[Still, a hint's a hint. He checks the forest first. The total lack of flaming foliage clues him in. Next is the Underground.
After several tries, he finally portals into somewhere within sighting range. The din of chaos sounds about right, and he strides towards them, quick and careless. Both Keyblades are out, because even if he doesn't intend to help, it's still the Underground.]
[It's not like he ever planned for this to happen. First Heartless, then this...THING he can't even name because his chakram are in hand -- slicing, catching fire and charring whatever is trying to chew through his foot.
Che.
And with a glance up, the smirk on his face is as recognizable as the light that seems to follow.]
[He doesn't answer the obvious, just waits on the sidelines, Keyblades slack in his hands and eyes narrowed.
As Axel fights.
After a moment, he gives in and heads into the fray. Admittedly, what drags him in is more the violence than the interest in helping Axel. It's been a while since his last trip.]
[Maybe for a second he pretends it's like before, backs together and slashing through Heartless without concern. Moderate with one, far more than easy with the two of them. Still, Axel just rolls his shoulders--
...as he sets part of the floor beneath them on fire.]
You know how it is.
[Something like a snide laugh, and he twists his chakram into another body part.]
[Nice thing about Organization boots, they don't catch fire easily. It gives Roxas the split-second he needs to catch on. A sharp noise twists in his throat. He wheels, knocking the Keyblade into the space Axel should be moving into, and jumps onto the section of the floor that isn't merrily crisping. Even there, he keeps the Keyblades up.]
Idiot. If you want me to leave, you could just say so.
[The retort bubbling in his throat is instantly replaced with an annoyed yell. Careless really, the way something sharp gouges through his coat and rips a deep scratch into it. In retribution, the thing becomes instantly headless.]
Didn't say that, did I?
[Another swing of his arm, flames trailing in its wake.]
Maybe this isn't the place for LONG speeches, Roxas.
Axel?
