I've been a bit absent from the internets lately (slight understatement), but I've wanted to come back and remember LJ again because it is my very favorite thing to do on the internet. It's where fandom lives and where all my friends, rl and otherwise, hang out. So here we go with trying (once again) to post more often.

Woo-hoo! You know what they say about great minds and thinking alike? That is what I chose to think is going on here. Welcome back to eljay. They should throw us a party or something. Nothing motivates me to write quite like a good party.

I miss you guys too! I was just think of asking if I could come over some weekend soon. Not this weekend, it's Hurricane S's B-day on Friday and I am pretty sure I'll be recovering all of Saturday. Next weekend maybe? When were you leaving for Texas again?

You have no idea how happy this comment made me. The as of yet unnamed but definitely in progress sequel to Failing To Fetch Me was the thing I was most recently working on (if you can count October as recently by any stretch) and it is the fic I most want to get back to. I was afraid no one would remember the first part and that it was getting to late to do anything with it.

I am actually about to sit down and re-read what I have so far. I don't even remember where I left off but I have at least one chapter done and even beta'd. It needs some serious tweaking though, which is why I put it aside initially. No promises, but I am hoping to have it posted by the end of the week. First I'll need to humbly beg my amazing beta reader redcirce to look at the revised addition after I never even responded to her doing it the first time.

And don't worry, there will be kissing. Lots of kissing. Eventually.

Thanks. I have been writing again, which has been wonderful. Not quite as much as I wanted, but I think I now have some time set aside every week to have at it. I've been working on that sequel to failing to fetch me. After I sent you the first two chapters I planed on going back and adding in more sections from Rose's POV, which I agreed needed to be done, but I just never got around to and then writing fell way back on the back burner for way to long. I should have something soon though.
