I know you have some unfortunate emotional triggers with OkCupid, but like a lot of people have probably been telling you, if/when you work past those, it is a great resource for nerdy types to meet each other! It was on OkCupid I met two friends I'm now really close to (and one of them I just convinced to move to within a couple blocks from my current apartment).
