first earthquake, then sky-quake

Supposed to visit DC this weekend. Am not sure what to do because of the hurricane. Should I reschedule? I'd hate to miss out on any of my visit. But I don't want to be an idiot, either.

I don't know what your specific concerns are, but I checked this blog ad it sounds like there's still plenty to do: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post_now/post/whats-closed-reopened-in-the-dc-region/2011/08/25/gIQAocSseJ_blog.html

Key being "All Smithsonian buildings have reopened," which means you could hit up all the free museums you could fit into a weekend.

LOL, I just realized you don't want to, like, get killed by the hurricane. And in that case I don't know what to tell you.

Haha, yes, that is what I meant. :P I wrote to ask my DC friends, and one of them replied that as much as she wanted to see me, maybe it would be best to reschedule. Based on her assessment as one who lives there, and trusting her judgment over my own, I'm about 80% decided to stay home, but I think I'm going to check weather reports tonight and decide then.

(p.s. I tried to write "<3" and the first thing that came out was "
