The kids have been fans of theirs for years. Bean2 has already purchased Poochy a CD at the concert that's autographed for her.
Artstar has done about 5 animations using their songs as theme topic, like, well, essentially animated music videos --- just on his own, for free --- I think once he tried sending them a copy, and no response...
In any case, it would be nice to be acknowledged personally.
I feel a LITTLE bad we weren't home. We talked with the kids when they first arrived in St. Louis, but then we went out to a movie around the same time their concert was starting...
It was supposed to be the big reward for hard work... She felt like suck a big girl, planning that outing, inviting her brother, etc.
That is awful - they should have still let her in because she was with her brother, who WAS of age. I would definately write a letter not only to the band, but to the corporate offices of the place that held the concert. At the very least, they should refund her ticket. And give her one hell of a big apology.
I'm with everyone else on this. I'm sure if an "adult" had been with her, they would have allowed her in. I've seen the way people treat teenagers when there isn't a Mom or Dad around, and it isn't pretty. My daughter was kicked out of a shoe store one time because there were "too many kids in the store." When she told me that, I marched in there and gave them a piece of my mind. And I'm certain the same would have been true for your daughter. Write a letter. Write lots of letters. To the band, the band manager, the concert promoter and the concert hall. Poor girl!
