Facebook, oh the horror

We are trying to adopt 2 cats from a shelter or rescue. I am starting to realize that if I want to know when new cats come into the shelters or rescues, then I am going to have to join Facebook. Bah.

Ugh! If people want to join Facebook, they should go for it. But for those of us who want nothing to do with it, we shouldn't be forced to!

Way too many groups and people assume EVERYONE is on Facebook.

They don't have their listing on petfinder.org?

One of the rescues doesn't put animal descriptions on Petfinder or update on new arrivals on Petfinder but does announce on FB. One of the rescues doesn't seem to update Petfinder with new animals until after the animals are gone, and provides pre-availability information via FB. So no, Petfinder has been sort of sucky.
