I am a sad, sad fangirl.

[laughs] I am the most pathetic fangirl ever. I got very bouncy when I got home today, for what was on my doorstep? WHITE CHUCKS! [glees liek whoa] And they actually fit too. Now I shall run around in White Chucks until I have to go to Basic Training, and I'll probably wear them on the way there anyway. I told my mom this was the most ( Read more... )

we'll miss you when you're gone too! when will that be, anyway? I have no sense of these things, of what happens at all between joining and ending up with a job and a place you have to live.

I ship out February 9th, which is so very very close. And if all goes properly, I'll be graduating from my Advanced Individual Training in late August. From there I'll find out my assignment, though I'm crossing my fingers that I'm smart enough to be attached to NSA and can work out of Fort Meade.

Won't you be too busy abusing your body to miss us?

True, but every night before I fall asleep I'm sure I'll think back fondly on everyone and maybe start to cry a little. Whether it's from missing you all or the pain, I'm not sure.

You have trek tats? That? Is pretty damn hot despite the fact that I've never been a Trekkie. It's also adorably fangirlish.

And it totally tops that time I almost got "Bored Now" tattooed across the nape of my neck. I was going through a weird love of Willow back then. But that's a story for a different day when I have time to include the sub-story about spending two hours trying on leather corsets because my mum told me she would disown me if I ever decided to get a tattoo based on a tv show obsession.

I never really considered the Trek tattoos fangirlish, honestly. They were always just incredibly geeky instead, because it's not like I was actually a Trek fangirl.

I think having "Bored Now" tattooed across the nape of your neck would be really hot, because Vamp!Willow was...uh...really hot.

But I've never really been a fangirl before now! And I like to think that I'm merely a normal fan trapped in a fangirl's squee.
