Heeeeey. Look who's graduating from Basic Training tomorrow! I don't have much time -- today's Family Day so I'm on my mom's laptop in her hotel room on post -- but I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've missed you guys like whoa. I've done very well here (it seems I was born for the military or something). I'm even the Soldier of the Cycle ( Read more... )

Wow, dude. You + deadlycool firearm = sweet. I admit, I'm jealous *rifle envy*

Great to hear that you're doing such a great job at Basic Training! Extra awards are always a good thing :) You must let us know all about it when you have the chance. Here's hopin you get your stuff back when you're supposed to.

And on the Doctor Who front, I'm thinking that it has been recieved pretty well in the US. Granted, this is only from the limited population of... err, my flist. But from that, I've been getting really good feedback. I saw the first episode of the new season, 'New Earth' and really did enjoy it (surprisingly really liking David Tennant, omg). If you somehow make it back to this general vicinity, we should totally catch up on the newest eps. *pets Doctor Who* Mmm, pretty...

HI duck!
We miss you, oh so much.
Since I gave up drinking, I'll do this week's tandem jump in your honor.
Stay sane, babe. ;)

I don't know what you missed Who-wise (I'm still working through S1), but it's good to hear things are going so well for you! I'm eager to hear how everything is going. I think I'm going to end up applying for Air Force JAG in a year (eek, less than a year), so all things military interests me.
