Alright, how the fuck does AOL manage to continually turn Instant Messenger into a more complex and useless program every fucking time they create a new version? With each installment, AIM recieves more useless features that are supposed to keep it ahead of competitore, but inevitably turn it into a fucking crap heap with oodles of useless shit

And dont forget the unbelievably irritating ads on the top fo the buddy list window that grow and make all kinds of noise when you accidentally put the cursor anywhere near them...

I have no idea what either of them actually is, but its on the same buddy network, apparently.

I have DeadAIM (and an older version of AIM) on my computer at school, which is fine and good, but I don't feel like paying $5.00 or whatever it is to install the newest version. I think it's kinda silly that in order to get a program to work the way you want it to, you have to buy something else and install it on top of that :-P. Ah well.
