Travis and I feel very strongly about not having any bad blood between WJ and Wootton's theater programs. The reality is that most people at WJ DO NOT feel the same way about Wootton's show as a few (louder) people have expressed. Quite frankly, that's not fair to the rest of us. The open comments made by a few people will be interpreted as being

i may have been one of the people who started this whole thing. But let me just say that this has gotten way outof hand. I really didn't mean to hurt anyone, and if i did i'm sorry. Most if not all of the things i said were really in jest, and if anyone actually takes me an annoying little freshman idiot seriously, then that just reflects poorly on them. I hope we can all just put this all behind us.

I just wanted to say thank you. It seems as though you understand what we at Wootton were trying to convey all along, and yes, some people conveyed it in eh....harsher terms than others. I also don't think it's fair to lump all people at WJ together, just as I don't believe that all people at Wootton should be lumped together. As a senior, as a lead, as VP of drama club, when we come to see your show I will try my very hardest to keep us in line. Because at Wootton...we are family, and theatre is a large part of our life. And...I think that through it all, maybe respect should be the biggest thing taken away from this.

thank YOU, sarah. I hope that when you come see the show, you bring a lot of people! and i hope that the students that come will hold themselves to the amount of respect that you do. i don't think that all this shit should have started because of one critisism, because a) he is a freshman...hehe and b) things were taken out of proportion because of some of the things that he said. but yeah, I wish for all this fueding to stop. it's rather annoying to go to your friends list on LJ and all you see is bitching from person to person, and not only between your school and ours(...well, theirs...i graduated..:-D) but students from WJ are fueding with eachother. it all needs to stop. and hopefully everyone will have enough decency and respect to put all this behind us

Sarah, I am so excited for you to come see our show. I loved seeing yours, and I loooooved seeing you. I really could give a shit about all this nonsense controversy. We've all done shows. We all will do shows. We all will critique shows. It's really about the people. I love my cast. And, obviously, there are people in Wootten's cast who I love (i.e. SARAH!!!!, etc.), too.
It's way to neat that we are the same role! Despite this mess, how many people from each of our schools can say they are actually friends with their counterpart? Yay us!
