Must leave Mangaka- chan a note too-- I just got the hardcopy of TPH today, and I am glad I got it. It looks really great. (It is, so far, the highlight of a day in which I find that my truck needs replaced.)
aaaanyways-- Now I can use it for bedtime reading, instead of having to fire up the computer! Well done.

Ok, wow, first of all, I AM SO BEHIND ON MY INTERNET LIFE!!!! I've got Oak sitting on my harddrive and finally feel like I have breathing space to invest in recreational reading and I never got the chance to say OMG THANK YOU!
Also, I'm a little jealous since I've been traveling and I think my hardcopy of TPH has been sitting about in my mailbox for a week (mangaka-chan was the one doing all the hard work with getting the printing to work right, so I haven't seen the real deal yet!).
As soon as I get back home tomorrow and before I plunge back into work, I'm going to take a day off for myself and start reading all the amazing fic that I've seen piling up in my mental to-read list that the past few months of work craziness have kept me from!
I figured you were busy-- did I see the words "class" and "dissertation" somewhere on this site...?
Anyways, I think you'll find TPH: The Book quite acceptable.
And as I said somewhere about 'Oak,' it's not ready for beta- reading yet, so just enjoy. I do need at least one more piece, with Drosselmeyer and Edel, and they all need strung together better and maybe a bit more exposition and character development (I could so easily say that, as a character, she's a bit wooden)-- I know what I think the Oak might be like, but I doubt it's coming through. But, now you have an early draft. It's kind of tying in to that epic- length (maybe just epically looong) thing that I'm not writing. Really.
