I was asked five questions by glorious! So now I will answer them.
1. What was it that made you start liking Asch? A realization or did you just take an instant liking to him?
I took an instant liking to him after he appeared aboard the Tartarus and started bitching. I found his attitude really amusing and I was eager to see more of his personality. Plus, I had been a huge fan of Albel [the Wicked] for a number of years, so liking someone called Asch the Bloody just seemed like a natural choice.
I really began to like him after someone posted Asch Gaiden to talesoftheabyss. After seeing what he went through to try and get home, I really identified with him. I have a lot of abandonment issues of my own, and I was really upset to see Asch find that he had been replaced. His tenacity is admirable, even if he is a bit of a douche about it. He doesn't back down from his duty, even when the odds are stacked against him.
Man, I could just talk about this forever. XD; I love him to bits.
2. Coffee or tea?
Neither. :x I muchly prefer Coke. When I was trying to work through that awful flu or whatever it was in the summer, buying a coffee to help my sinuses was a last resort.
3. What color socks do you wear?
White ones, 'cause I'm cheap and buy 'em in bulk. I have some other cute patterned ones, but I can never keep track of them all.
4. DO YOU THINK ALL-CAPS IS THE HEIGHT OF HILARITY OR IS IT OVERDONE? WHY?
I THINK THAT ALL CAPS ARE PERFECTLY FUNNY AND ACCEPTABLE. MOST OF MY CONVERSATIONS WITH discover OR tabooism ARE IN ALL CAPS. IT EMPHASIZES IMPORTANT FACTS.
5. Does the text "so I just TRY" have any special meaning? I know the icon wasn't made by you but have you given it meaning?
I'm getting kinda tired of using it all the time, but it does have meaning to me. Especially with a lot of the crap I've had to deal with this year, I've tried to keep my head up nevermind that I eventually failed spectacularly. Things aren't always going to go my way, and situations are going to be ugly, "so I just try" to keep on going. That's pretty much me in a nutshell this year, just trying to get on by.
