Spinel yawned, glancing over at the ship's timer. The others had offered that she rest, but she really didn't want to leave them on their own to run the tests. She wasn't a medic by profession, but that had been her job in Quark, and over time she had learned how the tests were run and how to interpret the results. Sleep could wait a little longer.
"You know, I'm not used to seeing you without pink hair," Heitor said as he came in, bringing with him two steaming mugs of coffee, which the other gratefully accepted. He then sat down on the chair beside her, watching as she tapped a few keys on the console and got the results printed.
She ran a hand through her hair. It was black, its normal color. Her pink wig lay in a heap on the control panel, forgotten for the time being. "I know I look better with it," she said with a chuckle, reaching out for the papers and going through them page by page. "Hmmm. She's fine. She's showing signs of fatigue, but who wouldn't be exhausted after all that? I guess that answers-"
And she stopped suddenly.
"Spinel?" he asked worriedly, leaning over to look at the paper she was holding.
"Oh my god..." She passed on the papers to him and went back to the console, furiously tapping keys left and right. She didn't catch the disappointed look on Heitor's face; she was too busy verifying the information. This was news, and she had to make sure that they weren't mistaken before she break it out to her friend.

Cecilia was up early that morning, and she joined Blair, Fayt and Maria in their discussion at the dining hall. She thanked them for going all the way to the Underworld to bring her back, but was immediately serious thenafter. They still had a war to fight.
"We'll need you to lie low for a while," Blair said. "But I'm sure you'll do quite well in doing so."
The redhead grinned. She was serious about the matter, but there was no need to be all grim about it. Hey, she just got back from the dead. "It's a talent. Besides, I've managed to keep my identity a secret for the last two decades or so." She looked around. "Are the others coming here today? We need to plan all this out, given how the circumstances have changed."
