I'm such an idiot

I adore the new phone, it's really shiny, and OMG you can connect to the internets! And stuff! And have apps and widgets and YAY. So the first thing I did after saying this will help me stay in touch was that I let it run out of power and then realized I didn't remember the PIN ( Read more... )

Sorry about the phone trouble. Did you get it to open again and remember your pin?
I 'm also having mobile trouble. My old old old (about nine years old) but so reliable and awesome mobile is finally on it's last legs and the battery gets depleted so fast.

I'm planning to buy a new phone some time in January. Looking at smart phones and OMG it is so hard to choose, my brain hurts from all of the choices. It is so hard to decide what it will be.

*fingers crossed for the job interview*. Doing the same thing, looking for a job that would fit me and my school schedule. So hard to find anything!

It was all my silliness. I left the card with the PIN at home and had to wait until I was back. Tadam, recipe for trouble. But it's all fine now.

I don't know much about smartphones myself, but I've been told it is important that your phones has a nice chunk of inner memory (as opposed to card memory) to be able to handle your apps. With me it was also important that it should have a good camera, so that slid the bar a bit higher. I also hear that the Chinese models are very cheap but they also work just fine and many people around me are content using Huawei or ZTE phones. Do you have any specific models picked out yet?

Hope you find something for yourself, times are tough enough as it is. *fingers crossed*

Thanks for the smart phone tips. Sadly no I haven't picked any models out yet.

I'm trying to limit my budget to 200-225 euros which is quite cheap for a smart phone. Sadly though there is some weird pricing going on in Estonia. The cheapest smart phones are somewhere between 100-160 euros and then there is just a big 100 euro price chasm and the next ones start somewhere 260 euros and up, which is way over my budget. It will be interesting to see what I will end up with.

I will be the most annoying smart phone buyer ever. I'll be all I need that that that and that to be on my phone and my budget is this? What phones fits this? *snicker*

Yeah, there is such a ridiculous difference! And then there are the old models that are just plain "dumb" phones and the cheapest ones are pricier than the smartphones! Like, WTF?

So which phone did you chose?

Lol. Letting it run out of power and then forgetting the PIN sounds so like sth I would do. XD Is there a paper with your PIN you could check?

Darn about the interview, yay for new ones, and even more yay for screwing the world and having fun until next year. Though I guess that means I'm not going to see any trace of you until next year, either. :P *snuggles*

And where's my muffins, then?!

I ended up with the Alcatel, seems like it was a good decision. So far I really enjoy it and don't regret not buying the Samsung. They gave me a card with my new PIN, I just left it at home for the weekend. *facepalm*

Also, I most definitely plan on being around in that time, so worry not. Though I'm afraid I'm not much of a good company recently...

*hugs and squishes and loves and bakes muffins for*

Ah, as long as it's just the card and it's at home.

Well, I might have kind of accidentally watched Thor and Avengers today, so if you've got nothing else to talk about... *cough*
And if all else fails I can shower you in puppy and kitty photos. :P
I'll be in France for a few days before Christmas, though (insert short squeeful outburst), and probably not much online until next week, just for your info.

OMG you watched them you have to tell me all the things. :D

Also, I may have lied a bit, because in the meantime I landed another job interview and my aunt and Co. are coming over the weekend, so things got a bit busy again. But I think next week should be much better. *is awful*

And YAY FRANCE. Wish we could go there together at some point.
