Today I had someone literally cry on my shoulder, I received two-handwritten invitations to attend birthday parties, someone else declared their love for me, I watched boys along with girls wearing dangly necklaces with no shame ( Read more... )

They are. As well as their teachers! They scared me a bit cause they're control freaks.
I was mildly rebuked for allowing a boy too many of a particular type of pasta when he was making his necklace.

Although you tend to end up with a migraine after a whole day teaching them, they are absolutely wonderful. I luffs them.

Awww, the sweet joys of kindergarten...how I long for those days...toys, fingerpaint, story time, nap time (especially nap time!) I actually only went to kindergarten for 2 months before I was skipped to grade 1, but I enjoyed my short time there, nonetheless. ;)

hehe, it's fun to have a change of pace once in awhile. The sweet little kidlets must have loved you! :)

I wonder what would happen if I tried to enroll myself in kindergarten?? 'Cause I missed it and all ;)

Hehehe..

~*Later darlin!*~ :) ::hugs::

LOL That would be an awesome idea. I'm sure the kids would adore you! Also Kindergarten classes for adults. How much fun would that be? I missed out on kindy too so I wouldn't mind "catching up".

:) I think you would be so good with little children. They would adore you!

Believe it or not, you need a university degree to teach kindy! You need the same qualifications as any other teacher. Having taught from Kinder up to uni, Kinder is the hardest year to teach because the children are all at different levels and you can't assume they know anything.

If you want to help out, rather than teach, there's a lot of schools that need assistants within the classroom. And I don't think you need any qualifications for this. They'd probably send you to some training or something.

Alternatively, there's pre-school and daycare where they require you to have a TAFE diploma.

Aww, only coz I'm a big goofball XD LOL But I loff kiddies, and it will teach me how to be patient because I can lose my temper so quickly sometimes :o\

That sounds cool! If I don't get the thing with The Age I am going to apply for this course at TAFE they have running involved with Children's Care and stuff :o) And if I don't get into that I'll just do volunteer work!

LOL Anyone who wants to learn patience or anger management should teach kindy. I'm usually a very placid person but kindy is very trying. Especially when you one kid dobbing on someone else, someone else crying over a paper cut, someone else trying to strangle someone etc etc etc. And you can't lose your temper otherwise half the class will end up crying!

When do you expect to hear back from The Age? And that's great about going to study at TAFE. It will keep you busy! Do you still plan to study acting?
