It's an awesome book, it's a real life novel written about Dave Pelzer, it's like an autobiogrpghy on himself he wrote. His mother totally abused him phsyically and mentally while growing up, and it's so heart wrteching to read, and disgusting some of the things she did to him, really makes you realize how well off you have it compared to some pppl. I totally recoomend it, there is like 3 books that follow it also, as he grows up from a child to an adult and what he went through.

That sounds like a fascinating book actually.

And don't call yourself sad for reading such books! I think it's great that you're willing to expand your mind. I've always enjoyed reading books of all genres. I read just about everything. From kids books right to the classics. AT the mo I'm reading The canterbury Tales.

Movie: Donnie Darko - The Director's Cut - You'll never look at reality and the world the same again.

A Book: The Nightrunner book series - Lynn Flewelling (Starting with "Luck in the Shadows"). Romantic fantasy with court intrigue, thieves and elves.

A Musical Artist: OK, I'm bad with music but I do like the Gladiator soundtrack, pretty inspirational.

Dinner: Chicken Pad Thai

Website: Delectable Oomph one of my favourite LJ icon archives.

LJ User: rohandove She's posts lots of pretty pictures and polls and has a thing for some of the LotR actors.

Now that is one movie I have to see because I am very curious at the extremely opposing opinions I have heard about it.

The Gladiator soundtrack I have and I love it. :)

As for chicken pad thai, I'm vegan so can't have. :( But I do love Asian food. *licks lips*

Awwwww I need to see some more Xena. I'm tempted to rewatch Seasons 1,2 and 3 again seeing as I don't have access to the otehr 3.
