There and Back Again

The Byrds sang:

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weepWell, the time has come to end this journal. It is a little bit sad, but it's what I ( Read more... )

Reminds me of the Tao ;)

There is a time for being ahead,
a time for being behind;
a time for being in motion,
a time for being at rest;
a time for being vigorous,
a time for being exhausted;
a time for being safe,
a time for being in danger.

I'm going to really miss you. You're only the second person to leave LJ in the time I've been here, and I...will miss you. And that's not a way of saying "stay" because you have to do what you think is best. It's my way of saying. Thank you.

It certainly sounds very taoish and there's also a very similar passage in the Bible. It's a wise saying.

I'm going to miss it here too and your journal was always one I loved reading. And no doubt I'll be coming back to see what you're writing because I love the wise and fangirly things you post. If I'm ever in the vicinity of Brisbane I'll let you know or if you ever venture Sydney way, buzz me and we can have a Xena or Lost fest together. ;)

I know. :( A shame I didn't find you on Livejournal earlier on cause you are lovely. But I'm sure I'll be coming and visiting people's journals every now and then. Take care.

I'm already missing it here. :( As I hit the button on that post I wanted to undo it but this is something I need to do.

And OF COURSE I'M STILL GOING IN NOVEMBER! The Gods and 12 hurricanes would have to hold me back from going. I can't wait to see you again girly.

I'm very sad about this too, because I've had the best time with you and all the other people on here. And you my dear are one of my closest and dearest friends I have met online.

However, I've done some soul-searching lately and I feel like the Internet has become a substitue for really doing something with my life. And the Internet does not mean the people I have met such as you. I mean the sitting in front of a computer screen for hours and days and weeks on end. Weeks that have now extended to years. I'm 25 years old and have yet to really begin living life. And I know if I don't do something proactive now, it could easily turn into more years. I want to give up that part of things but not the wonderful friends I have met through my time here. I could never turn my back on you and forget, and I would not want to. I just wish we lived in closer proximity cause people like you are rare finds. But we'll begin with November!

*big squeezy hugs and kisses*

I understand what you mean, I don't ever see myself being able to give it up though. IUt's sort of become part of who I am, and I'm proud of some of the stuff I've learnt and can do online. But only time will tell, if this will eventually wear off.

Cannot wait until i see you again hun, Is Aimee still going also in November?

You have to always do what's right by you hun. And I am also very proud of the stuff that you can do on the Net. You are very talented and I have to say make the best icons and layouts of anyone I know. Plus you have excellent, excellent taste in men. ;)

I'm not sure if Aimee is going in November. I spoke with her after she came back from her trip, but I haven't heard from her since. I'll have to ask her, but either way, I'll be there with bells and whistles on! I can't wait. :)
