I absolutely love this website: www.allrecipes.com it's one of the first places I go to when I want to find a Mid-Western/Southern recipe for my husband. Now if only I could also find the guts to make some of them dishes... Southern Mother-In-Laws are tough acts to follow.

I think that mother in law thing applys to all mother in laws...mine cooks southern, and ethiopian dishes.....both equally well. Funnily enough with the southern stuff...fry it with lots of butter, and serve it with a biscuit and gravy and you will be fine ;-) (dontcha love stereotypes LOL). I am still stoked my normal pumpkin pie came out...the two layer was not so good...like i rocked out the creamcheese layer, but the pumpkin layer wouldnt set, so ima try it again later. I may send a "what the hell did i do wrong" email to kraft..see if they can give me some pointers. g'luck with the new dishes..hopefully our combined culinary adventurism will come up with some good stuff. Me trying to step out of the southern cooking box, and you stepping in :-).
