How good are you at pressure and at selling things? The pressure you apply to the potential buyer and the pressure applied to you to sell-sell-sell? If you love the high pressure of meeting quotas, of pressuring others to buy, and aren't concerned about what the tsumani did for car parts and car manufacturing (many manufacturing plants were damaged enough it might be a year or more beofre parts start flowing again), and that your pay is tied to your sales (some dealerships, the salespeople only make commission, others they get a small base pay plus commission), then perhaps the car dealership would work for you.

You could also take the state job tests for secretarial/receptionist work for the state at the Jim Thorpe building (warning, it can take MONTHS to get a state job) and then take the call center job until something else opened up.

I would take the call center job if only because of the flexibility, the fact that you've been trying to hire on there for a while, and the pay is steady.
