Gal, I love the way you live your life. It's so inspiring! And I think hula hoop-ing in the garden sounds divine, so I think I need to find a pretty swanky hula hoop and practice ( ... )

Hi. I didn't mean to delete that comment. I thougt I had posted it with C.P.'s log-in. He doesn't like it when I impersonate him. It was late. :)

One of the cool things though is that my grandmother LOVES flowers, so every month on the 25th, I had flowers sent.

I love that. I'm going to start doing that for my mother. What a good idea. I have three great uncles (all brothers) on my mother's side who are in their 90s. They argue over who will make it to 100. I am hoping my mother takes after them.

I'll have to ask her at Thanksgiving.

Although knowing her, she will probably just shrug and say she was just living her life and that God can take her any time he likes now cause she's tired and "ready to go home."

From my point of view though, most of my relatives that have lived that long were not from this country. They moved here as teens or younger when the world was at war and they were just trying to survive and keep their families together. I think they just have a different take on things, from the way they eat to how they spend their money. There's not a thing I can think of that my grandmother takes for granted, and she's always been thankful for everything.
