Name: Agito / Akito / Lind Wanijima
Series: Air Gear
Canon: OU.
Age: Fourteen/Fifteen
Timeline: End of chapter 32.
History:
Their background is rather complicated. As a fetus, they were pulled out of their dead mother’s preserved body, and raised up inside of a tank until reaching a certain maturity, to keep them alive. At that point, from the Twinkle Eyed Lind, one can assume they were experimented on quite a bit to try and get to the potential Gazelle had. Although, some point after this, Akito had been sent back to their father’s house with a note explaining who he was, and that sort of thing. Kaito, their father, then took Akito under his wing, calling himself his brother instead of his father.
He raised Akito up, trained him to be the Fang King, but Akito couldn’t take the stress of being such a thing-- thus, Agito was created to deal with that sort of thing for him. However, Kaito was very, very protective of them, something that wasn’t revealed cannonly until much later-- but even while young, he kept them in a cage, with a straight jacket to hold them down. While they had assumed this was for other reasons, such as him not wanting them to run away- it was really to protect them, so he wouldn’t lose them again. Still, even at that state, Kaito used them as he pleased, used Agito’s fighting ability to go up against any one who stood in his organization’s way. Agito was the perfect fighting machine, would rip up his opponents with hooks connected to his pants while on his A.T’s. The straightjacket didn’t slow him down one bit-- he didn’t need hands, not when the hooks were just as good for tearing people to shreds. He claimed this habit was because of his “bloody road”, and he needed to carve the memories of himself into the opponents skin. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy cutting up his opponents, loved the blood, even.
Agito and Akira were the top members of Wind G-Men, and easily dominated over whatever they were supposed to take down. Agito had slowly grown to trust him, grown to like him, even despite the way Agito had always been intent on protecting just Akito. However, Akira eventually betrayed him, taking his Fang Regalia along with him. The betrayal he felt from that left Agito unable to trust anyone else aside from Akito for a long time. He fought, he did his job, but that was it, before sliding back into Kaito’s cage.
-until they met Ikki, at least. His first meeting with the boy wasn’t a pleasant one at all, considering he had knocked Agito off of his feet- and then Agito proceeded to insult Ikki over his ‘parts’. Even if the start of their relationship was rocky, when Agito had been forced to switch into Akito and couldn’t fix it due to his hands being held down by the straight jacket- Akito seemed to like him enough, warned him of the danger Kaito was about to cause, and even followed after them when they started running- only to give the other a nice kiss on the lips, something that frightened Ikki entirely. That wasn’t all though, as he even slept in the same bed as him, interrupting his good dreams with another kiss. Akito had decided Ikki was just whom he and Agito had been looking for their entire lives, and had immediately latched onto him, even if Ikki wasn’t too fond of the attention.
Personality:
I’ll start this section off with Lind, since he is the technical first personality. Lind doesn’t have much of an actual personality in cannon, although it has been stated that he is the direct copy of Gazelle, their biological mother- so one can assume he’s pretty much the same as Kaito- since Gazelle copied her own personality off of his. Thus, Lind is probably much more violent in nature, yet still protective, which was evident enough when he completely snapped when Kaito got hurt- which was probably due to the fact that, as Gazelle, she was Kaito’s lover. He seems to have a fondness for Akito and Agito, too, as the time he talked about them, he referred to them as “babies” with a kind sort of expression.
However, at the cannon point I am dragging them from, their body isn’t strong enough to support Lind at all- so he probably won’t show up at all until they get much stronger, if that even happens, due to the lack of the fang regalia.
Akito, the second-born personality, is a lot more soft natured. He doesn’t like fighting much, and is the sort to cling onto someone-- like he did to Ikki shortly after they met, claiming him to be a bird, and perhaps the one who would be able to release him and Agito from their cage. Agito had referred to Akito as being much more scary than himself when angered-- and even though Akito isn’t too fond of being a king, he does have more ability than Agito, the personality he created just to take over that side of his life for him. Akito is rather fond of Ikki and his group, always greeting them with smiles and such, although his reaction to Kaito is completely different. He answers Kaito with straight faces, never smiles or anything of that sort- but he doesn’t get angry or upset, either, not even when Kaito shot some of the rubber bullets at him. Sure, there was the pain from them, but no distain or anything of that sort; he’s used to it, after being used as Kaito’s “tool” for most, if not all of his entire life.
Agito, the third-born, is more ill mannered than Akito. He loves fighting, unlike his counter part, and loves to cut up other’s. -but at the same time, he is very protective, especially of Akito. Akito is his only reason for living, really, as he exists because Akito couldn’t take the stress of being the Fang King himself. He says the word “fuck” a lot, and curses often, has what one would call a “potty mouth”. Since his creation, he’s taken the role of the main personality, even if he is the youngest of the three. Due to his over protective nature over Akito, he’ll often switch out just to make sure Akito doesn’t get hurt, and will stay out after injured until he’s all healed, most likely so the other won’t have to feel that pain he felt.
To other’s, he’s a bad mouthed brat, and he won’t hesitate to beat anyone who he doesn’t like or whom is in his way. He follows his own road, and won’t let anyone create anything to block his way, unless Akito says something against beating them. He’s opinionated, and even towards Kaito, he will speak his mind when he feels like it- although Agito would never fight back against his brother, not seriously at least. He takes the others’ hits, let’s Kaito beat him up as he pleases, just because of the sort of bond they have, but it’s not as if he likes it or anything of that sort-- he rather dislikes Kaito, just because of what he put Akito through.
Abilities/Additional Notes:
As the Fang King, Agito is one of the highest ranked A.T users-- is even classified as an A ranked rider when on his own. He’s been training on them since he can remember, and wouldn’t give it up for the world, really. While Agito is good- Akito is considered to be even better than him, although since he leaves the A.T’s to Agito, Akito’s abilities were never revealed on their own, only when he was working together with Agito.
Lind on the other hand, has the abilities of both the Thorn Queen, and the Fang King, and can easily put both the Sonia and the Blood Road together on the battlefield, despite them both being complete opposite of each other. He’s seen to have nearly twice the ability of Agito and Akito-- but due to their weak body, has a hard time going to his full potential, and is also known to use up too much of his own energy in battle just to leave their body in one piece.
Psychically speaking, their body is rather weak. It’s small, and has the strength of the average small girl, which is something that bothers Agito completely. It’s this weakness that holds them back from becoming as strong as Agito feels he needs to be, and that body that keeps Lind from being able to go full out in a battle.
Third-Person Sample: The last he could recall, Akito had been inside the small round cage, being carried away from Kaito by Ikki and back off towards their place instead. He could already feel the bruises forming from where those rubber bullets had hit, and he was fairly certain there were a few wounds that were just a bit worse than that, too, just because of how close his brother had been. They didn’t concern him much, though-- soon, Agito would take over, and he wouldn’t be bothered by them anymore.
However, the straps of his straight jacket had gotten stuck on the outside bars of the cage he was stuck in, leaving him unable to switch the eye patch over so Agito could take over. It took him a while, but eventually, he had rolled around and pulled enough that the straps on one arm came completely loose from the metal, and once it had, it was immediately moving to push the eye patch over, to get Agito to stop worrying so much- although once he was loose, it was all curses and loud grumbles while he rolled around even more than Akito had, not happy at all with the fact they were trapped inside of this thing, in an unknown area with who knew what the fuck was around that could come out and come after them. “Why the fuck is this damned thing so hard to get out of? Couldn’t that asshole have put in some sort of emergency release thing? God fucking damnit!” With a few more growls and curses, he had eventually managed to pull free from the other stuck strings, ones that had been much, much harder, if only due to the fact they had gotten wrapped around the bars many times over.
-and once he had gotten loose from that, both of his hands were moving to grab onto a few of the bars, slim fingers making sure to hold onto just enough while his feet pushed against the other side, rolling the cage over several times, in every direction he could think of, just trying to get some sort of leverage, something to grab onto outside of the cage so he could try and kick it open, maybe, it wasn’t as if he was actually going to ask for help or anything of that sort, after all.
First-Person Sample Journal Post:
Video;
[ For a moment, the only thing on the feed is the normal, barren ground that’s normally seen in this sort of place, although there’s quite a lot of muffling coming from the side of the camera, and after, a round cage rolled in front of the camera, with a small statured, dark blue haired boy inside of it. ]
Fuck! Why the hell is this thing so hard to get out of?! Couldn’t that damned asshole put a emergency release latch on it or something?
[-and then there’s more rolling, while Agito tried to figure out how to open this thing from the inside, with all the belts holding it together from the outside. Really, couldn’t he have gotten stuck here after Ikki had let him out? ]
