I've recently taken to planting aloe cuttings. Its amazing the variety out there. I want to get an arc welder for those sculpture garden stuffs. I have a candelabra that needs repair.

arc welding workes great for big things and not so great for small things, like christmas tree ornaments styled like small torpedos, whales, submarines. i have some welding experience. it's great stuff. i would worry about explosiveness and fumes though, as small under pressure metal things with enameling and paint might be dangerous at high temperatures. yeah. but definately something to research.

Its a 6' tall free standing candelabra with 10 candle holders. It needs one leg reattached to the bottom ring and some decorative stuffs to add support to the center upright. Could be turned into a lovely piece.
