i think a true friend is a boy or a girl who is always there for you and no matter what it is he/she will always help you with,

a true friend is someone who you feel 100% completely comfortable around, someone who feels the same way towards you as you do towards them. they make you laugh, they help you to stop crying no matter why you are down, but if you cant stop crying they dont make fun of you for it or put you down even more. if your feeling upset, the thought of a true friend makes you not upset, and it makes you more easy going. a true friend has your back when shit goes down, and you have their back. (life is a 2 way street) . but to be a true friend, a person mustnt be perfect, for no ones perfect, they just try their best to make you achieve the highest level of happiness you can and from doing that, they achieve their highest level of happiness.

I'll start with the definition of a friend.

friend: Someone who loves you and accepts you, no matter what you do. If you fuck up, they know when to forgive you and when not to. They give you a shoulder to cry on, and all of the words of comfort they can muster. They will talk to you until their voice is horse, if you need some genuine words. They will listen, and not interrupt you when you just need to spill what's going on in your life. They will let you pick what you guys are doing, if they know it means a lot to you. They will give you a home to stay at, and food to feed you. They will take you under your wing when things aren't right at home. They might say negative things about you behind your back, just because they would have trouble confronting you, and are trying to spare your feelings. Plus, we're in the modern era. Who doesn't have little problems with their bestfriends? But when you hear about and confront them on it, they don't lie, and they own up to whatever it is. They lend you money when you
