You did pretty well for no spell check, even your grammer isn't too bad! Way to go, Mario!

We were talking cost of living comparisons and trying to determine which areas are the more affordable ones to live in last night. My data is dated, stuck in '98 when Griffey still wore a Mariners shirt, the economy still rocked and the Kingdome was still intact.

Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Everette...are these even viable subrubs anymore or is it time to look out further (Kitsap, Issaquah, Goldbar etc.)

My parents have a place in Port Ludlow they don't use half the year which would be the "Qatar" for our "Operation Iraqi Liberation". =)

Everett still is.
You can find nice places in Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Shoreline. and cost of living is very low. (although caution on shoreline. some bad areas)

BTW there are plans to build some gihugic office buildings in Lynnwood so it would make great investment property. IMNSHO

Marysville, Granite falls, Steven's Pass also work.

Closest to the Bellevue area is Kenmore. It is being built up and will have nice value soon.

Don't go south in general. Renton has nice stuff but some not so good areas.

Redmond and Bellvue are affordable only if you enjoy cutting back to less than 1 meal per day. LOL Although if you can find a reasonably priced piece of property I would jump on it.

Condo's are still affordable almost anywhere.
