I'm sorry about the network cable-I grabbed it last minute out of our closet-I didn't check it and guess I should have. The Bearno's thing is a result of being in the Highlands. Traffic is always bad, parking is always horrific, and there just wasn't a reasonable place to set up so we left. It happens. You are definitely not a bad friend. Had I more energy and time I would try harder to convince you, but it's just true, so you have to take my word for it-you are in fact a very good friend.
Damn, sounds like life. But, as crappy as the end of the day went, there were some positives there at the beginning. Hopefully today was better.
I hear you on the over qualified crap. When I decided to go back to school, I put a resume out everywhere. I got zero calls back. I'm not talking about law firms here. I applied at Lowe's, Walmart, Target, etc. I don't understand how someone can be over qualified for a job. Doesn't that mean that you'll be able to do the job amazingly well?
You're not a bad friend. Shit happens, especially in a trendy part of Louisville. I like you.
No one is handy with computers. They let you think that for a month or two, then they make you curl up in the fetal position and cry in a corner.
Yay larp!
Who cares about the cable guy (unless, of course, it's a very hot cable guy...then you might care)

Sucks about the job thing too.
