you know what, tho'? it sounds like a good idea to me. the fireworks are over, you're both moving forward together with open eyes & all the best intent - let it work, & may the distance you're swimming through bring you closer.

Thanks so much. It is so nice to hear something positive as opposed to "Oh, (then quickly change subject" or "Whatever."

Though I haven't a degree in psychology, and know nothing about your relationship with John, it's obvious from this journal entry, and a couple others that the relationship can work, that it has potential. And so it makes me really happy to see you both trying, because if it's worth it, you should be trying. YAY! :D

Thank-you very much.
I guess that encouragement is important to me sometimes. Well, encouragement when I am doing something good!

Chin up, honey. Remember all those people who can't support you in this are a bunch of pricks and you're better off knowing they aren't ture friends.

Yeah. One of my best friends is the worst. She doesn't seem to want anyone to be happy because she is miserable.

I know the type....

Hmm, maybe you should look at it as not spending time wioth those people frees you up to spend the time with John that it is going to take to get things right again. *hug* you deserve better, more supportive, thoughtful friends, but I've definitely found that they are few and far between as well. I know it hurts to be let down by friends when you need them the most, though. Fortunately, you've got John, trying his hardest, and genuinely wanting to help you heal. I think that is more valuable than a hundred superficial friendships, any day.
