That damn lawyer was in a big damn rush, having used his lunch break to inspect Midtown. Which meant - since he'd just finished teleporting - that sulfuric smell would be even stronger when Reilly entered the room, slipping on his jacket and offering Hudson an apologetic smile.
"Sorry. I had... kind of... an emergency myself. I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long?"
Hudson grunted, wrinkling his nose at the smell wafting from the lawyer. He would have brought up the stench, but now was not the time to go doing things that might piss the lawyer off.
"Yeah." Hudson leaned forward a little, his hands dangling between his knees. "Seems like this might be your kinda thing anyhow. She's just a kid with a temper who did something stupid."
