It's ironic because I was bragging that I inherited this gift of sickness immunity, and once the 3-day weekend hit, I get sick. I am proof that mind and body are closely connected. Perhaps I was emotionally weakened somehow. Hmm. I dunno. Like. Through an email. Or two. Maybe. Perhaps. Possibly. Likely. Probably. DEFINITELY.

I remember the log cabin building thing. I have the scar from it on my right hand still. Somehow it came to be the night before it was due and I had a bag of pretzels and had borrowed a teacher's hot glue gun because all of my attempts with regular glue had failed. Anyway, my mom wanted to sleep, so Audrey got to help me that night. I don't think she was too keen on that idea. Anyway, I feel this burning on my hand and I look at she is sitting there holding the hot glue gun to my skin!! What a jerk, right?? It created a gross blister and still have that scar.
