that reminds me of this reel we watched in first grade. it was this movie following a red balloon. it was perceived to be an object with feelings and emotions. at the end it meets blue balloon, but then the red balloon pops. this was all very tragic for my fragile first grader mind.

hmm. i'm not sure if i've seen it, but i vaguely remember this movie where this little girl loses a red balloon, and it goes places, like over buildings, and stuff like that. i forget the ending. i don't remember a blue balloon. maybe it came back to the little girl. i hope it did. that would be happier than your movie. i don't like sad movies. i think it's sad when balloons fly away.

That balloon looks limp & nearly dead. Have you been taking it out? Are you keeping it happy?

You have to also give it compliments. How graceful it moves in the wind, how smooth its latex skin. They dig that.
