Boy story warning

So my littlest one, Alex, has some speech difficulties.  Stuff like truck being fruck with the r optional or Her sounding a great deal like Whore. However emanating from the playroom last night I heard ' that woman is diabolical'. So it makes me wonder ..... maybe he would learn more easily if we used scripts from cartoons to teach him.....

You know, I seem to remember my Dad saying he had similar mixups as a child. I'll have to ask him about that :)

hahaha!! I love that "diabolical" comes easier than "truck". :)

If your worried about his speech call the public school and ask about speech therapist or something along those lines. I don't remember how old he is but there is early intervention(if he is under 3) also if he does get an IEP for speech the services are free they are provided by the state. I will also let you know that there are many letter and sounds that children do not pick up til as late as 7 and that is totally age appropriate.
Do what you feel right though if you do not think there is a problem with his speech don't worry.
oh the other thing is many school district in New Hampshire provide preschool for children that have IEPs

He does have speech therapy in school and his speech has improved over the last few months. It just cracks me up that he can say 5 syllable (sp?) words and not 1 syllable words.....
