When I inquire, "Would you like a prune?" a person usually responds, "Yuck! No, thank you!"

However, I love how when I ask the same person, "Well, would you like a dried plum?" he'll usually answer, "Why, yes, I'd love one! Thanks for asking!"

lmao.. that is so funny. It's all about connotation I suppose.. Are prunes a normal part of your diet? o.O I ask because this seems like a rather rare situation... lol

Well, a couple of weeks ago, I went on a dried fruit-buying-rampage, including apricots, prunes, pineapple, dates... People like to visit my dorm, so I offer them those things. No one wants prunes, but everyone'll try a dried plum. >_<. (Oh, and dates aren't too poular, either...)
