Pets!

How are all these people playing Pets without all the mods being updated?I (namely Story Progression because I know practically everyone uses that) I am having simming withdrawals but I am afraid to go ingame because of possible major flub-ups.

I just backed everything up and removed all my hacks and mods and then played a "test family". So if things do get messed up, it's not my legacy family so it's no big deal. Also, Twallan has actually updated a LOT of his mods. SP still isn't up but like, practically everything else is fixed.

Oooh. I may have to do a test family until SP is back up. That's really just the last one I am waiting on. :)

Yea, I also really like the test family because then you don't go and spam your legacy family with all of the updates for whatever EP it is. Cause whenever I get a new EP I'm like "DO ALL THE NEW THINGS AT ONCE!" and it would be overwhelming and boring in an update. lol

Awesomemod is updated so I'm planning on using that until SP is back. But on a test family only!

Wouldn't that be really bad??? I've always heard that Awesomemod is impossible to remove because it's a core mod.

Basically yes, it's not good to take it out once it's in, but if you're only using a testing hood and not in your current save game, then by all means, you can just delete that hood once you've got SP back and you're using your original family.

I'm so bad about mods and downloading things.
I'm the kind of simmer that forgets to take out downloads before installing new stuff. =/
Luckily, by the grace of god I have never had any major problems. *knock on wood*

I don't have any of those kinds of Mods. I just have custom stuff. That's how I'm geting around it, lol.

Wow! I commend you! I can't live without Story Progression! How do you survive with just EA's version?
