I enjoy playing WA, I got it right back when it first came out. It never gets as much use as my other expansions, but the use it does get is quality :] There are LTR related to getting discounts and stuff, and they stack per Sim who is taking the holiday. And, time stops so even if you have other plans you can get on with those after - it's literally a little break from the game, for you and the Sims :]

Oooh! That's a neat little bit of information! Thank you! :D
I like the idea that time stops so it's not like I am losing valuable skill-building/promotion getting/baby making time!

I have WA too. But I only went once to Egypt. For me, I rarely go for vacations because I normally have things for my sims to do.
However there are some nice missions and different places to explore. It is good if you want your sims to take a break and check things out from a different perspective. They have Mummies too.

My view will be: It is good to have but not necessary compulsory.

Yeah, I feel like thats how I'd be. I'm always thinking BUILD SKILLS, GET PROMOTIONS, HAVE BABIES, REACH LTW! So, I am glad I am not the only person who can get really goal oriented when playing ;)

Thanks for the advice. I feel like you and me are definitely similar in our simming styles!

I have it but I haven't bothered to install it.

I never sent my Sims on vacay in TS2 either, just had BV for the Travelkeeper mesh!

Yeah, once I get a laptop with a bigger hard drive, I probably will.

I have it, but it's nt installed. I thought about installing it to send the legacies children on a vacay, like I've seen on other legacies, but I havne't installed it yet. (Well, i did but i've installed and uninstaled sims like five times since it came out because i go through kicks of playing and not. So after the first time, it never got reinstalld.)

I can understand wanting to send legacy children out for a vacay. After all age up, marry, have kids on repeat can get a little monotonous.
I feel like if I had WA I might use it a couple times but then might get bored with it too, idk idk.
