I am so sad. When it happened you feel so helpless. You think, i would have hug him and pet him so much if i had know. I am very sad, i know what you are going through with your life, i lived pretty much the same thing and you it never heal. You can get over it but things are not the same anymore. I'm sorry that your dog died but haven't bad things happened to your dogs. Like someone unlocked the gate and there goes some dogs. This one drowns. I think if you get a new one, you handcuff him to your hand so if he goes, you go.
