Alright, folks.  Not counting classical pieces, which songs you learned from Warner Brothers cartoons do  you like the most?

Of course, "Kill the Wabbit" is a classical piece...something from Wagner. Uh, I'm not enough of an expert to know which opera. A friend let me know "Weturn My Wuv" is the "Pilgrims Chorus" from "Parsifal", though.

Yup, I'm talking classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies only. No slight on the later stuff, but it's not what I grew up with and doesn't have the nostalgia punch with me.

Examples of songs I learned from Warner Bros. would include "Blues in the Night", "Someone's Rocking My Dreamboat", and "As Time Goes By", for instance.

I love all the old toons (and music), too. But, when I read this the first song that popped into my head was an Animaniacs one that goes like this:

It's a great big universe and we're all really puny
We're just tiny little specs about the size of mickey rooney
It's big and black and icky
and we are small and dinky
It's a big universe and we're not!

There's more to it, but that's the part that gets stuck in my head. I just think it's so funny, mainly because most of the kids watching probably have no idea who the hell mickey rooney is!
