So livejournal is broken for me AGAIN - same issue as before.

1) can't load my friends page
2) can't set security on posts
3) can't get into my drop down list on my profile to see comments/notifications
4) can't use any of the buttons in the html editor to insert links/photos

WTF are they doing?

It's working fine for me. I've been surfing around Live Journal with no problems at all:/

There must be loadbalancing involved and some servers are working and some are not? I see on the support page that people are opening tickets up again about these issues....

I'm not techy in the least so I have no idea.
It must be a small comfort to you that other people are also having the problem, so you know that it's not your computer or your LJ

no it's definitely something they've broken again - the javascript on the page is just completely broken. And in the same spot it was before.

It's just frustrating, because you can't report it to anyone and get any response, and there's no information forthcoming from them to indicate "yes we know there is a problem, we're working on it"

As someone who keeps servers up and running and has to deal with problems and customer support, this kind of thing drives me mad. Issues happen, but communicate, dammit!

I only have 3) and the "workaround" I have found is to open a specific entry in my journal and then go to the pull down menu and it works fine for me.
