And by now he's luckily recovered enough to talk somewhat. It's still hoarse and not nearly as loud as it usually is, but at least he's above whispering. Most of the time, anyway. ]

[ His face immediately lights up at the items England has collected for him. Beatles records, a way to see again, and weed. What more could anyone possibly need in life.
No matter how bad it reeks, surely it's worth it to see America this damn excited. HE'S MAKING THE ATTEMPT TO SPEAK LOUDLY AND EXCITEDLY but his voice just keeps cracking into what sound like shouting whispers. You know what I mean. It's late and I'm making sense shush. ]
