revelation and stuff
this is gonna be a bit of a long post... so for those that don't care i'll just hide it.
so... i'm currently working at mcdonalds out in orlando. i'd be upset more if i hadn't tried pretty hard to have some other job... and seen the droves of people applying at my store for a job. the economy is pretty bad right now, this "obama recession" as rush limbaugh is calling it. that's like calling it the "roosevelt depression"... but i digress. i have a job and it keeps me fed and paid. that's a nice combo for once.
economic comments aside... i've always toyed with the idea that the two main drives in my personality were my creative side [the artist] and my logical side [the scientist]. i've finally developed names to these sides, helping me understand them more (and to answer the question already poised... no this isn't multiple personality disorder). the artist, the creative side that constantly looks for fresh ideas and to explore emotions, is my hexWarrior persona that was originally conceived to be an alter ego i designed under. meanwhile, the scientist, the logical mathematician and strategic politician inside of me always striving to bring order and be the ever vigilant parliamentarian, is none other than the John T. Carter persona that developed over the years at humboldt state. i've been wanting to do an art piece exploring the artist and the scientist... and now that these personas have quantifiable names and attributes... i think i can finally explore the art piece. i'm feeling a fun photo collage with hand drawn elements... let's see what i can dig up.
and nerdapalooza is going well, for those playing the home game. we have our first national sponsor for 09. i will announce later. ^_^
and since i less than three keith olbermann so much, i'll post this.
