September! <3

Mostly this month just consisted of interning, freaking out about interning, enthusiastically squealing over interning, homework, Big Brother UK, etc. I did manage to take a few photos that aren't super interesting, but I want to document as much as possible during the end of this year.

One of the things I've noticed thus far about my clients is how amazing they are! We are getting a ton of these WalMart mini stores popping up all over town and none of them had benches at the front just yet. I never realized that benches are typically in place for those who need a quick break between getting through the parking lot and getting their shopping done inside. One of my favorite clients told me all about how she called all of these mini WalMarts and advocated for the elderly and disabled to get benches placed at the appropriate locations. She was so excited and proud of the fact that someone listened to her and she was able to be helpful. A few days after hearing about this, my social work trainer and I were picking a few things up when we noticed the benches! We took this photo and sent it to the client as a cute little memento. She is thrilled to have something to show her family and friends when she tells the story about her benches! It's little stories like this that just make this experience even more enjoyable.

My homework buddy!

I really admired this art piece at an Italian restaurant. The staff had no idea what it was called, does anyone know?

Crappy photo of these interesting posters that are placed all over the highest areas of crime in town stating how to report abuse committed by police officers. What a shame that we live in a time where the people who should be protecting us the most are the ones we may need to be cautious of.

Possibly the most exciting part of my month (Besides the world not ending!). I'd say this was 85% amazing and 15% meh, but I am a highly biased fan.

Those singing machines at Chuck E. Cheese are creepy as hellll.

My shitty iPhone shot of the blood moon for fozziewaca.

Grad schooling like a proper intellectual!

I live in the LAMEST town ever, but I am interning in such a culturally exciting location that I get to see works of art like this, bitches!

Taking photos of random cats is how introverts entertain themselves at parties where they don't really know anyone.

Any Canadians listening to this podcast? It's Jeremy Taggart (Our Lady Peace former drummer who commented on my wall in the MySpace days! <3!) and Jonathan Torrens (From random TV shows, I guess?) who are absolutely hilarious and are definitely not those guys in the photo. I'm obsessed.

PLEASE do not let me forget that this was promised to me for my party in December.

Cocoon is misspelled, but this is definitely relateable. WTF am I doing?!

This is what a 300 page training manual looks like when a bored intern gets their hands on it. Organized AF, I don't know the answers, but I definitely know how to find them.

Zooey was NOT a happy cat this month, but she did manage to make a few appearances where she was loving and pleasant.
