As most of you know... I had gone thru an emergency surgery last year in July when the doctors had found that I had a large ovarian cyst. As a result, I was left with 1/2 of a left ovary and my uterus. Last week I had to get a follow-up x-ray done because the doctor wanted to make sure my ovary is doing good. Nope. Good luck with your second x-ray. I'm lucky to have caught mine all early (cysts and fibroids) so they were removed when they weren't too large, and nothing but them had to be taken out. But I understand what you're going through.

Yah, I get checked 2-3 times a year (sometimes 4-5 times a year depending on what my doc wants).

When they removed your other one, did they do laparoscopy or did you need a "regular" surgery?

They tried laparoscopy first until they discovered how many I had and how large the cysts were. =(

Thanks Derby. I wish you could be here to visit if I have to go to the hospital again. You know how bored I was the last time and I hated being there alone.
