You'd figure it would, wouldn't you? I mean, there's alot of horrible stuff going on in the world. Not just in New Orleans, but everywhere. But, when you get down to it, people only care because we think we're supposed to care. If it doesn't affect them, then they'll forget about it in a week.

Me personally? It's a tragedy, but there really isn't anything I can do about it, exept hope that it gets fixed soon. I mena, I guess I could go down there with a bucket and try to empty the city out... but that might take awhile ;)

The point of this is to say, mostly, Americans are self centered. It's sad to say, and most won't admit it, but it's true.
