Early voting!

We early voted ^-^ ... Actually stood in line 2 hrs @-@, but we went in on a Sunday at 11am (doors closed at noon). IDK I think the place might be insane election day... everyone out there in the US who wants to vote (and I hope you do!) might want to consider doing so early

Virginia is definitely not ready for the number of people expected to vote this year.. I registered almost 6 weeks ago and have yet to get confirmation that I'm registered in the mail (though I do show up online, so I know it got there), which has me worried, because in Virginia you have to show ID to prove that you live here, and if I don't have my Voter ID, I'm not sure what works - I haven't gotten a VA state ID yet because I'm kind of an idiot.

Erf, that's rough! Would a piece of mail addressed to you do? Or a student ID?

Mail works, but I can't remember which kinds of mail - might have to be a utilities bill, and ours are all both mislabeled and also theoretically addressed to Sven. I should actually check today, because I could go get a new ID this week if I need to (I need to get a learner's permit and my attention span has been crap so I've been avoiding reading the manual), but I keep hoping I'll get my stuff in the mail. I suppose today could be the day :).
