why do I think I'm making a difference? Because nobody else around me does, ergo someone has to step up. :-)
I'm making a difference by caring about my community service work that I do with my university. When it rains, I inmediately think of the people in the poorer neighborhoods that are always affected by it. When I go to the nursing homes, I sit and talk to the seniors, and even though I am not a med student, I feel like I am able to help at least by listening to them.

I work with a collectively organized web hosting company (www.gaiahost.coop) which seeks ecological sustainability and social justice, in it's own function and seeks to support and work with organizations with similar goals.
I live a low-impact lifestyle in a co-housing building, shop little, and make living decisions with an ecological mindset.
I play with friends who share my goals of sustainability and social justice, support local economy and believe in making a positive difference in the world.
