I spent the morning at the farmer's market, the Asian market and then Stop & Shop, gathering ingredients for the dinner party I'm hosting tomorrow evening. The virtues of Indian food are endless, really, because in addition to its sheer deliciousness and nutritional value, it's also cheap to prepare. i was thinking about you last night - dominick told what nice things you had to say about me and it made me cry...you are my new best friend. you should immediately move to northern maine and be my neighbor.

Hurray for new best friends! I'm glad Dominick passed on the praise. He's a very nice boy, himself, and I've salvaged a couple of dreadful evenings of dancing at dreadful Diva's by conversing with him.

Hey, do you know of any good diners in your area? The availability of decent grilled cheese sandwiches is an important factor for me in deciphering the potential livibility of a place like rural Maine.

yes!

the one i went to for my birthday (it's in new brunswick) and there's a super cool diner that's only open thursday-sunday and they have good stuff.

you'll have to come visit to test it out.
