Oh man. Looking for jobs does suck in this area because there is so little out there. I feel you. Keep trying and something will break. I only work 10 hrs a week so I feel your pain.

Whenever I am on FB, I always end up chatting with the same two people. I always keep my chat status available hoping that different people will chat with me, and then the same two people initiate conversations. What do we talk about? I dunno, I just make polite smalltalk until they get bored because I don't want to seem rude. If I had it my way, I'd not talk to them as often, and, when we did, we'd just shoot various cat videos back and forth at each other instead of making awkward smalltalk, but that's not the way the world works.
I don't really have any other practical advice to give. I am retarded about jobs, money and living in places. But hopefully my experience with the time-sucking bog that is FB can help you retract your sweet, sweet insecurity claws a little bit.
I agree with Melanie. Even if there's nothing going on, it's clearly making you uncomfortable. I trust Bryce with a lot. And I'm not the jealous type, in the sense that I don't care if he has female friends. But if I knew he were regularly in touch with Elise--his ex-girlfriend and "first love"--I know I would feel uneasy. Don't accuse him or anything--just ask him what it's about. What they talk about, and so on...if he thinks he still has feelings or anything like that, and then go from there

Well you know... sometimes we can stay friends with our ex's. My current motherfucker doesn't understand it because he's a cunt and his ex doesn't like him. I talk to my ex every day via email. He's a nice guy and so am I. The motherfucker is paling on the morty-scape though.
