SO WHATS BEEN GOING ON WITH ME. Idk just forgetting to update all the time.
Nick and I went to Asheville at the beginning of this month for Julie’s wedding. We drove up on Friday, wedding Saturday and we walked around and used a groupon for horseback riding at Pisgah View ranch. The wedding was great. LET ME USE PICTURES TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT.
L-R Livy, Mia(david's daughter), Quinn, Rosie(David's), Mia (Julie's). I guess I have two... step nieces? is that right?
Then they did a thing where they said vows to and gave each other's kids silver necklaces
then vows
Even though she's crying here I think Julie looks gorgeous
Did I mention I took all these pictures? I thought there was going to be a pro then Nick and I got there and my dad was all "Here take this camera and take pictures" >:/
Then Julie sang a line from a pavement song. also she is wearing combat boots under the dress. because she is super cool
Look how happy! yay!
The ceremony was in the back yard (obvs) and it was just them, the kids, elise and paul, jim, me, nick, mom and dad, and david's sister and parents.
One of the few pictures I'm in. L-R Mom, Mia, Me, Livy, Elise, Julie, Rachel(david's sister), David's mom whose name I cannot remember, Mia and Rosie.
There was a pinata (hey it's Jimbo!)
Paul eviscerated it.
and we were pelted with candy shrapnel as I took this picture
Dudes pictured: Dad, Jim, Paul, Nick, David, David's dad whose name I cannot remember
HEY MY NIECE IS ALMOST 14. WHAT WHAT WHAT
Q-bert eating a vegan cupcake. cupcakes were aight. I could have made better.
Nick pretty much spent the entire time laughing at the kids being crazy
We both had a great time. And that makes two weddings I have been too. doop.
Asheville was nice as always. Had some delicious noms at Early Girl Diner and a noodle house that I have forgotten the name of. There was one thing that I noticed within 10 minutes of driving around down town. All the young dudes are dressed alike! Tshirt, khaki shorts, and sneakers with…wait for it…. Black socks. I considered the possibility of the town being over run with german tourists but Julie and Elise both confirmed that Asheville homeboys love them some pulled up black socks.
The trail ride was awesome. We had the option to not wear a helmet, it was through the forest so it was shady and cool and omigah everything there so pretty
The guide took several very unflattering pictures of use :/
crossing a creek
Nick was at the back of the line this time
pretty pretty day
and holy hell I am rusty with adding pictures in a timely manner
o my shoulder hurts from sleeping wrong or exercising wrong and eating too many vegetables or some shit
o it is hot as a bastard, there are carpenter bees(Oh hey what's that hole in the wood? oh there are gnawing munching sounds coming from it. let's spray some bug spray in there. OH HOLY SHIT A HUGE BEE. WHAT!?) living in our deck, japanese beetles eating my basil and FRUIT FLIES. ALWAYS WITH THE FRUIT FLIES
