I just got back from NY yesterday, and it was the first time I'd been there. We went to the AWP, and while we were there we saw Russell Edson, Martin Amis, Charles Simic, and Mark Strand. We saw more, but those 4 were the ones that were good. There were a lot more authors/poets that we wanted to see but didn't because there was so much to do! We ( Read more... )

Oh, your poor mommy! I am glad she is recovering. Congratulations on the jobs- both of you. I've been to NY twice, both for brief periods of time (evenings to go catch shows) while visiting Jeff's family in New Jersey. It really is an impressive city.

She's almost better now, though.

Thanks for the congratulations on the jobs, they've both been pretty good so far!

Oh oh and I am gonna send you my address--Sorry I'm taking soo long! I am having HellWeek! Make it end! Also I could totally write you a letter on my 2-hour monday break thingy. I'm gonna do that.
