I think you're right, because now that I think about it, the first thing I do when I'm on the site while pretending I've never seen it before is click on the first link on the right, which doesn't do anything.

Thanks! :)

I'll start thinking about what I should write there.. hmmm must come up with text about design-related stuffs..

Maybe I should go all Mellzah and then just fill it with info about what I will do as dictator? what do you think?

I did try to get it to work for that resolution without scrolling but I had to compromise so that people with higher resolutions wouldn't be staring at teeny tiny pictures. Which they kind of are still teeny tiny, but you know.

Web design would be so much easier if I could just make everyone have the same setup as me! This is doable, right?

I agree with melissa, an intro page would be awesome. It doesn't have to be much, just something before jumping in!
But other that it is beautiful! You are amazing. I would hire you in a minute (if I had money to pay you, haha)

Thanks! :)

The intro page is tough! But I've been working on it. I just don't want it to be all cheesy since it's the first thing people will see, and I have a tendency toward the cheezyness. But yeah I agree it needs to be there.

Yeah, it is hard not to be cheesy. I have the same problem writing for my web site.

It is gorgeous!
I love the little leaves and flowers that come up on the links before you click them.
I noticed two things, that are certainly not glaring or horrible, but might make a little bit of a difference. First, I wasn't sure about this description:
"Cover for a proposed magazine, "UP," featuring"

featuring what I wonder? Am I reading it wrong?

Also, I would personally like it if the arrows that take you from one piece of art to the next took you from the last again to the first instead of only allowing you to go backwards. Mainly cuz when I saw the thumbnails (?) I would click on one I liked best in the middle, then continue on and come to the end and want to see the ones in the beginning I missed. Does that make sense? I do not have computer vocabulary!

This looks great and super professional and I'm stoked for you!

Thanks!

I think those are very good/observant/smart critiques and are very helpful. Computer vocabulary is unnecessary! (I usually refer to computer stuff as "that weird thingy, you know?" or other similar non-computerspeak anyway. Brandon has a field day trying to figure me out when he tries to help me with it.) :)

As for making the arrows go in kind of a loop, and go back to the starting image, I think that would work a lot better. When I get a day to go back & fix stuff I'll certainly do that.

And the other thing about the rest of that sentence being cut off, I'm really glad you noticed it cause it doesn't do that on my computer.. websites are annoying because you have to test them on like every kind of computer/resolution/browser and so stuff like that is really helpful. I will fix!

thanks again!
