Ok, here is an odd one for the at home audience....
My daily driver is a 2001 Ford Taurus, and it just recently started displaying the check engine light. But it goes off when I turn the head lights on. And then comes back on when the head lights are turned off. Other than it being a Ford, I can not think what else could be wrong with it. Thoughts?

Given me no end of trouble and I hate it to little tiny bits. Never buying anything manufactured by Ford ever again.
Fuel pump, rack and pinion, alternator, brakes... Poured money into it. At least I'm not a delivery driver anymore.
